The world is like a “country buffet” with all sorts of tantalizing goodies for us to chew on, but the nutritional value is lacking and the cost overwhelming. Why not feed instead on what God has to offer: the power of prayer, the richness of His word, the joy of worship, the support of others. There is no cost to what God has to offer, and the nutritional value lasts forever!

All of us experience those do-over days where we wish we could go back and do them over. It is for these types of situations that Jesus Christ died and was raised from the dead, so that we can call upon God’s resurrection power to release us, guide us, strengthen us, and renew us!
