Try it, You’ll like It

Remember those Life Cereal commercials with little Mikey who tried it and liked it (I’m dating myself). Mikey was the type of kid who didn’t like anything. So, when his two older brothers gave him a bowl of Life Cereal to eat, they thought he would push it away, but he didn’t. He actually tried it and liked it. On the opposite end of the spectrum, it never ceases to amaze me how some people will try anything except what God has to offer. And, when I say to them, “Try it, you’ll like it”, they simply push it away or ignore it all together. What a shame, because what God has to offer is Eternal Life, something far more meaningful, purposeful, and beneficial, than Life itself.
