Throughout the history of humanity, one thing has remained the same, human nature. In spite of all our technological advances, our ideological manifestations, and our superior reasoning capacity, we remain self-centered, self-seeking, and self-consumed. The very core of our human nature hasn’t changed since Adam and Eve decided to “do their own thing.” Through the birth, life, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ, God the Father sent his Son to “deal” with that “core” nature that lies inside each one of us. By accepting and incorporating what Jesus Christ has done for us, we now have full access to a “new core” nature that exists as a free-willed loving and gracious response to a loving and gracious God!
