It’s amazing the roles we all play in life, for example, the other day I was substituting in a Third Grade classroom. I was lucky that day because there were only 15 students instead of the usual 25-30. But, amongst those 15 students there were a variety of “individuals” each with their own identifiable characteristics. There was the “boss” who had the deepest voice that commanded the attention of others. There was the “flower girl” who spent her time picking flowers. There was a future “Goth girl” who kept telling me about her weird dreams. There was the “loner” who pretty much kept to himself. There was the “helper” who went around helping others. And, of course there was the “trouble maker’ who was always talking. It was interesting to see how all these “characters” came together to form a little society of their own. But, all I could think about is God bless each one of them because in their own unique way they each played their role. Thank God they were not all the same because as the old saying goes “variety is the spice of life” and I do believe God intended it to be that way (including the trouble maker). Now, this does not mean that life shouldn’t change for some of them or they are not entitled to a better role in life, but no matter what your lot in life is, God is always there to help, support, and improve your situation if needed.
