Giving Thanks

The number seven is a Biblical number meaning “God at work” both in this world (materially) and not of this world (non-materially).

Here are the seven non-material things I am thankful for:

God’s Holy Sprit (guidance and comfort)

God’s Love (mercy and forgiveness)

God’s Word (spoken and unspoken)

Loving Relationships (family and friends)

My New Nature (the person God wants me to be)

Freedom (political and spiritual)

Wisdom (from God, life experiences, and study)

Here are the seven material things I am thankful for:

God’s Son (God’s Word made flesh)

God’s Word (as found in the Bible)

Food, Clothing, Shelter (basic necessities)

Good Health (and access to healthcare)

People (love with skin on)

Funds (for living and sharing)

Work (both paid and non-paid)

I am also thankful to be citizen of the greatest country the world has ever known, the USA, and the greatest kingdom the world has ever known, God’s Kingdom.
